ColdFusion 9 takes the stage
In exciting news for the development community, Adobe has announced the general availability of ColdFusion 9 and ColdFusion Builder beta 2 software, our new eclipse-based ColdFusion IDE. Combined, ColdFusion 9 and ColdFusion Builder give developers an end-to-end set of tools and services for rapidly and efficiently building, deploying ,and maintaining Internet applications.

The next generation of LiveCycle Enterprise Suite
Adobe has just announced the release of Adobe LiveCycle ES2, a user-centric software suite designed to help organizations take customer service and employee productivity to new levels. By capturing, visualizing, and exchanging critical business information through rich application interfaces and secure documents, LiveCycle ES2 addresses key industry trends to enable more efficient development, empower users, and connect people within specific business contexts. Highlights of the release include the new LiveCycle Mosaic module-a composite RIA application which helps improve employee productivity-new Guide capabilities for more efficient data capture and improved customer self-service, and a model-driven development environment for faster, more collaborative development of LiveCycle applications.

Get ready for Acrobat Connect™ Pro 7.5
You're probably aware that the Adobe Acrobat Connect Pro 7.5 release date is fast approaching. With this upgrade, a new Add-in will be required for hosts and presenters to screen share. The new Add-in is already available and backwards compatible, so you and your customers can install it now to prepare for the upgrade and continue to screen share in Connect Pro 7.
As a reminder, with this release we're following the industry practice of upgrading Hosted accounts over a period of several months. The first set of Hosted customers to be upgraded has been notified that an account upgrade will occur in late October and informed of the new Add-in requirement. Customers not being upgraded in the first wave will be notified of the new version and Add-in during our November announcement, but you can provide them with the Add-in now.
