Featured Application -Monitoring Cooking Oil in Restaurants-

The ability to accurately monitor restaurant cooking oil in real-time not only facilitates efficiency, but is important to ensuring food quality standards and addressing health and safety concerns. Using Digi's Drop-in Networking technology, one or a chain of thousands of restaurants can have an intelligent view of cooking oil inventory and maintain brand quality.

An XBee® ZB adapter connected to the oil monitoring sensors sends real-time data over a wireless ZigBee® network to a ConnectPort® X gateway. The collected data is then sent over a secure internet connection to the iDigi™ platform where decision makers can remotely monitor quality and supply levels and schedule deliveries and exchanges based on real-time data and historical trends.
